Despite the increasingly intense competition, Samsung remains the king of the foldable smartphone market globally. As summer’s Galaxy Unpacked approaches, the silhouette of the South Korean firm’s next models, aka the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, is starting to take shape thanks to multiple leaks. The opportunity for us to fully review the new features is expected within a few weeks.
The design
With the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, Samsung is making some design changes compared to the current generation. According to marketing image inadvertently posted on Samsung Kazakhstan’s website, both smartphones will benefit from chassis with much flatter edges. Thus, we will get closer to the design that the manufacturer applied at the beginning of the year to its Galaxy S24 Ultra.
This render also reveals a slightly raised frame for the inner panel of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, or even photo sensors with contours in the same color as the chassis, on the back of the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

A high-end smartphone means high performance. For that matter, Samsung would not opt for its Exynos 2400 processor present in the Galaxy S24 and S24+.
