Emirates brings Oktoberfest to its flights and lounges

Emirates celebrates world famous German festival Oktoberfest offering its passengers the opportunity to enjoy traditional Bavarian cuisine and favorite German entertainment on its flights to and from Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Frankfurt, as well as in its lounges in Germany, from 21 September to 6 October.

As part of the Oktoberfest celebrations, Emirates passengers of all classes can enjoy a Bavarian starter, main course and dessert for both lunch and dinner, snacks in the airline’s famous A380 lounge and a variety of classic Oktoberfest dishes in the world-famous airport lounges.

On flights from Dubai to Germany First and first class passengers can enjoy starters such as potato and leek soup with herb butter, beef broth with meatballs, carrots and mushrooms, as well as asparagus salad with thin slices of veal, cauliflower puree, poached quail eggs and herb butter dressing.

Main courses include roast beef tenderloin served with gravy, braised cabbage and breadcrumbs, while entrees come with a choice of the classic Kaiser roll, the Austrian garlic bread. Exclusive First Place desserts include Kaiserschmarren – sweet sliced ​​pancakes with plum compote and cinnamon cream, and Distinguished Place desserts are apple pie served with crème anglaise.

Free treats include gingerbread, black forest cake, plum cake and German mascarpone cheesecake. In addition, before landing, passengers will receive a souvenir – gingerbread in the shape of a heart and an Oktoberfest decoration.
