First, Italy is next to Greece, so it is a very close destination that even if you are afraid of the plane, you can go by road. Bus tours are also organized by travel agencies.
Second, it is a relatively economical destination. Prices in Rome are more or less the same as in Greece. And if you don’t have a lot of requirements (expensive restaurants, etc.), you can keep the budget relatively low.
