Emirates offers connectivity to 1,700 additional cities, creating new opportunities for seamless travel.
OR Emirates has doubled the number of cities it serves outside of its network in the past year, creating new travel options in nearly 1,700 additional cities. As a result, more than 61,000 passengers connect seamlessly each week through the shared networks of Emirates and its partners.
Creating new partnerships and strengthening existing ones in the transport sector, the airline provides a wide range of travel options through 31 codeshare flights, 118 connections (inter-line flights) and 13 partners in rail and helicopter services. With 162 partners in more than 100 countries, the expanded network provides passengers with even greater connectivity, single-ticket routes, improved baggage handling, frequent flyer privileges, lounge access and other benefits to ensure a smooth journey on every station.
Passengers on partner airlines can benefit from Emirates’ expanded network of over 140 destinations and seamless connectivity through Dubai International Airport (DXB)as well as from the leading ground and onboard services offered.
In the past year, Emirates has entered into 16 new partnerships, including shared flights with Avianca and her Batik Air Malaysiawhile for interline flights with Ministry of Water, Sri Lanka Airlines, Condor, Flinas, Long live Aerobus, Sunny Express, Maldivian, Siberian Airlines and Kenya Airways were also fulfilled.
From flying to traveling by train, Emirates passengers can now connect directly to cities across Europe through codeshare partnerships with Trenitalia, Spanish Railways Renfe, Austrian Railways OBB and Swedish Railways SJ. In addition, Emirates is the first full-service airline to partner with BLADE, an urban air mobility company, to provide Emirates customers with one-way helicopter flights between Nice and Monaco.

Over its long history, Emirates has developed a strong network that connects its passengers to unique destinations, providing a wide range of benefits such as optimized flight schedules, seamless connectivity through Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Access Terminal 3, as well as competitive benefits for regular customers. Strategic cooperation with flydubai is a great example of how collaboration leads to optimized travel experiences and more benefits for passengers. Passengers currently have access to more than 230 destinations in 100 countries, with an average of 275 codeshare flights per day.
Emirates passengers can book flights to more than 90 unique flydubai destinations, while flydubai customers can choose from more than 100 Emirates destinations. As a result, more than 17.5 million passengers have connected through the joint Emirates and flydubai networks since the partnership began in 2017.
For those traveling on holiday and heading to popular destinations such as The Maldives Emirates’ interline partnership with Maldivian allows passengers access to 16 islands outside Male. Emirates’ partnership with Pro Flight Zambia provides access to 13 destinations served by the South African airline, including unique regional destinations such as Lower Zambezi National Park, a short drive from Lusaka, which offers an exciting safari experience.
The airline’s cooperation with Unitedon Air Canada and her Qantas continues to provide its passengers with seamless access to more than 350 destinations in North, Central and South America, Australia and New Zealand by expanding connectivity options, providing access to all award programs as well as other passenger benefits such as access to salons.
Emirates continues to strengthen connectivity between cities with single-ticket flights, as well as strategically expand its network of partnerships, including:
- America: Emirates passengers have access to more than 375 cities on the network of United, Air Canada and other partner airlines in Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. Passengers connecting via the Emirates network from Dubai can choose from unique destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Central and South Asia.
- Europe: Travelers can access more than 380 cities via seven codeshare flights, 33 interline flights and 12 rail and air transport partners such as Condor, ITA Airways, Air Malta, Air Baltic, Aegean Airlines, TAP Portugal and Siberia Airlines. Partner rail companies in Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Austria and Sweden provide connectivity for travelers to explore Europe by train and connect with Emirates using a single ticket.
- Asia: Emirates’ network in Asia is further enhanced through its 12 codeshare partners and 42 interline partners traveling to more than 500 popular cities in the Far East, West Asia and Indian Ocean, as well as the Middle East.
- Australia: Emirates’ long-standing partnership with Qantas provides access to more than 85 cities in Australia, while Qantas passengers can fly Emirates to Dubai and access more than 45 cities in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa outside Qantas’ existing international network .
- Africa: Emirates’ reach across Africa extends to more than 210 regional destinations through 5 codeshare partners and 18 interline partners, offering high connectivity and value for passengers with more flight options to smaller regional destinations on the continent.
