AG2R Of the worlds continues its strategy GenAI with the announcement of Almia, a platform based on generative artificial intelligence for its employees.
Owner, Almia aims to optimize the internal processes of the mutual company.
Described as “secure, responsible and ethical”, Almia aims, quite classically, to provide employees with the means to “concentrate on high-value-added missions, in particular to improve the customer experience”.
The same platform for 4 GenAI applications
Hosted in a cloud environment located in France – AG2R La Mondiale is a client of S3NS, the joint venture between Google and Thales -, the platform provides secure access to various generative AI models.
The company specifies that Almia covers four main types of daily use for its employees. Thanks to the “BOT by Almia” assistant, they can perform research on the mutual fund document database.
AG2R theirs provides in addition access to other assistants available from the market. And actuarial and IT development professions especially have GenAI functionalities to help them in their activities.
Multi LLM Secure AI Architecture
The platform also includes IAGen applications “tailor-made for analyzing customer satisfaction surveys or producing marketing content.”
Finally, the mutual company has integrated AI to optimize some of its business processes, including:
- Service management
- Management of trade offers
- Analysis of customer calls
Several of these generative AI use cases have already been handled by the company. In early 2024, during the CAP IT conference, Ludovic Letort its director of data and AI, announced projects in software development and customer service. After the text, through verbatim expressions and satisfaction questionnaires, AG2R La Mondiale’s customer relations department prepared to extend the use of generative AI to voice data.
GenAI as part of an AI strategy
Ludovic Letort testifies especially the company’s ambition to equip itself with an industrial platform for implementing generative AI.
Now this is done through Almia. Pascal MartÃnez, member of the management committee in charge of IS and digital technologies, adds that Almia “is part of a wider artificial intelligence strategy launched in 2023.”
On LinkedIn, Stéphane Lapierre, Client Relations Department, Digital & Data, precise also that the GenAI adventure “started in just 1 year” allows the group to “have a secure multi llm AI architecture” to develop multiple use cases (bot, apps, api, dev).
