The launch of the PlayStation 5 Pro is scheduled for November 7, 2024 at a price of 799 euros. The beauty promises an increase in performance accompanied by an improvement in rendering.
It is clear that Sony has explained that this Pro edition will allow you to take advantage of graphical optimizations for several games. Be careful though, the first feedback explains that this new version of the console is not without compromises, in particular with the lack of an optical drive and the use of PSSR scaling. This technique, available on PC via Nvidia’s DLSS or AMD’s FSR, aims to deliver 60fps in 4K at 1440p definition. Hence, it is expected to bring improvements to many titles already released and upcoming.
