And this year, an old favorite returns to the Paris holiday calendar. After the organization of the Olympic fencing competitions and the great exhibition Art Basel in October The Grand Palais has announced the return of its iconic winter event: the The Grand Ice Palace (ή Grand Ice Palace)aka the world’s largest indoor ice rink!
To claim this title, the organizers are arranging a 3,000 square meter ice rink under the renovated atrium, which will be open every day until 2 am. Tickets cost from €15 to €35 depending on the session. Although the details of the decor and graphics have not even been clarified, we can guess how it might go by looking at the last edition which was way back in 2019.
The final part of the Grand Palais des Glaces saw guests skating around a huge disco ball while DJs played – and as for the food, expect a festive Christmas atmosphere with waffles, pancakes, mulled wine and hot chocolate – the most festive!
The Grand Palais des Glaces will be open from December 14, 2024 to January 8, 2025.
