The New York Times has revealed its 2024 list of the 50 best restaurants in the US, and at the top of the list was Mr. Baan’s Bar and Mukata in Phoenix, Arizona, serves barbecue and Thai drinks.

The Times gathered their favorite restaurants after more than a dozen reporters and editors traveled to and ate at more than 300 restaurants in 96 cities across the country over the past 12 months. More than half of the restaurants selected for 2024 have opened since the 2023 list was published.

A total of 50 restaurants were honored, with 32 of them opening their doors in the past year alone.
