Aldemar Resorts and Olympian Village support cultural events in Ilia, promoting the area’s extroversion.
O Aldemar Resorts Group and the hotel Olympic Village supported and attended its significant cultural events Elias improving the outgoing profile of the area.
From September 20-21, 2024, it was held in its conference hall Pyrgos Ilias on 1st International Scientific and Business Conference entitled “Greece, Greater Greece, Italy – Common Cultural Borrowings and Challenges in the New Millennium’under the auspices of the AE of the President of the Republic Mme Katerina Sakellaropoulou and of A.T.P. on His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople Bartholomew.
This conference was the first of a series of planned actions that come as a result of the twinning between the municipalities of southern Italy and the municipalities of Ilia, in particular Municipality of Crotone with him Andravida Kilini Municipality of the Municipality of Pyrgos Iliya village Municipality of Squillace and that’s it Municipality of Ancient Olympia with him Municipality of Chia Marino. The main directions and actions of the action program affect the sectors: culture, economy/entrepreneurship, infrastructure, sports and education, and the implementation of the program is carried out jointly with the municipalities, Greek-Italian Chamber in Athens and on Patriarchal Foundation for Patristics.
As part of the conference, the Olympian Village Hotel by Aldemar Resorts Group welcomed the official guests on Friday, September 20, and offered them a specially designed meal at the Marina Restaurant with a spectacular view of the Ionian Sea. The luncheon was attended by the mayors of the twinned municipalities, the metropolitan of Ilia and Italy, the chairman of the Greek-Italian Chamber, the vice-regional governor of Western Greece, the manager of the hotel and other prominent personalities.
The results of the 1st International Conference “Greece-Greater Greece-Italy, Common Cultural Counterloans and Challenges in the New Millennium” will be presented in October in Italy, more precisely in the capital of the Italian Republic, Rome, where a series of meetings with Roma Automobile Club and her Assoitica Italyon Greek community in Rome and finally with his head Roman Catholic Church at The Vatican.
