Making cybersecurity issues understood by those outside the sector is not always an easy task. But the Cyber4Tomorrow initiative intends to provide tools to companies and professionals willing to try it out.
Launched today by digital professionals union Numeum in collaboration with Campus Cyber, Cyber4T omorrow is in the form of a website offering a “action catalog”.
The initiative is aimed at both organizations and businesses and cybersecurity professionals.
Mobilize goodwill
The action catalog suggests several actions to take, such as introducing a carbon footprint assessment methodology to your organization or organizing workshops for high school students to introduce them to cybersecurity careers.
Each mission detailed the steps needed to accomplish it and offered resources, usually guides created by the organization’s partner companies, to help achieve it.
In the case of the carbon footprint assessment methodology, the site links to a presentation of this methodology prepared by Wavestone.
The project is based on volunteering. The organizers invite the participants to contact them for feedback on the action.
The initiative includes several partnerships with companies such as Wavestone, Capgemini, Advens and the support structure for cybermalveillance.gouv.fr victims.
In the digital factory, the president of the Numeum Cyber ​​Security Committee Nolwenn Le Ster explains that a similar idea has already been launched by Numeum to raise awareness about the problems of the digital environment, Planet Tech Care.
Launched in 2020, this initiative has united nearly a thousand participating companies and around thirty partners around a manifesto calling for better control of the environmental impact of their products and services, as well as a series of seminars on this topic.
