The Municipality of Skiathos cooperates with Edelweiss Air for two direct flights a week from Zurich, with the aim of dynamically promoting the destination on the Swiss market and developing sustainable tourism.
In another strategic partnership with the Swiss airline Edelweiss Air continued Fr Skiathos Municipality in order to dynamically promote the destination in the emerging market of Switzerland, in the context of actions and synergies for the promotional campaign with large tourist groups.
Edelweiss Air has included in its flight schedule two direct flights per week from Zurich to Skiathos.
Indeed, in the context of cooperation and actions to strengthen emerging tourism markets with the aim of sustainable tourism development of the destination, the Municipality intends to take part in the international tourism exhibition in Lugano, Switzerland next November.
The Municipality of Skiathos carries out another important cooperation with a large airline company Edelweiss Air with the aim of dynamic and systematic promotion in Switzerland. This cooperation aims at the largest possible influx of visitors from the Swiss market, which shows a strong interest in the island and a growing trend. The main goal of the synergies created by the Municipality for promotional and co-advertising actions is the dynamic presence of the destination on the map of the tourist market, as well as its systematic promotion, both on the domestic and foreign markets.
